That's not horrible at all! Actually, it's not technically called "chick lit" anymore. It's been lumped into women's fiction.

But it's told in first person, the main character is obviously a woman. And usually the woman has a humorous, witty voice.

Hmmm....I'm trying to think of some examples of Chick Lit. Oh, here's a really popular one. Bridget Jone's Diary is a classic example of chick lit. :)

YAY! I love shout outs to my blog! Hmmm...how to increase your voice's awesomeness. That's tricky. Keep taking my voice lessons, of course. And if you think of any other activities, please let me know!

You do have an aewsome voice. It's very quirky. Very fun. Very blunt and humorous. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I think you should write chick lit. I think you'd be amazing at it.

Have you been nipping at the margaritas early? Without tell me? Shame, shame, shame!

My voice tends to change, somewhat, depending on what I'm writing and who I'm writing about. Snarkiness comes naturally to me. Yes, it does. I don't know why. It's a talent! So, when writing about snarky people - imagine that - the voice flows more easily. When I'm working on less snarky material, the voice isn't always so . . . LOUD!
